1. The I.S.C. Course (Classes XI & XII)
1. This Course follows the I.C.S.E. Examination. It is a separate Course and admission to it is generally restricted to students who have completed the I.C.S.E. Examination in Don Bosco School. However, admission is wholly at ttie discretion of the School authorities. A separate application is required for admission to this Course. An amount of Rs. 100 is to be deposited to obtain the Application Form.
2. I.S.C. students must follow exactly the same pattern of discipline as the students of the rest of the School. They must wear the same type of uniform, provide themselves with and bring daily to class the School Calendar and follow all the rules.
3. Failure to maintain that tone of Conduct and Discipline expected of senior students according to the express and traditional norms of the School will be sufficient reason for dismissal at any time.
 
2. I.T.I. course for Machinist and Turner
Admission requirements : Class X passed 14-20 years of age and qualifying in the Admission Test
Duration of the course : 2 years (August to July inclusive)
Examination and Certificates : Indian Government's I.T.I. Examinations in their corresponding trade. Certificate will be awarded to the successful trainees.

3. Mechanical Engineering Technician's Certificate
Admission requirements : I.T.I. Pass Certificate. Admission to this course is wholly at the discretion of the Institute authorities.
Duration of the course : 1 Year (August to July inclusive)
Examination and Certificates : Trainees are prepared for the following examinations
1. Don Bosco's Mechanical Engineering Technician's Diploma Examination
2. The Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE) Class 12
3. The City and Guilds of London Institute's Mechanical Engineering. Technician's Examination Part -I
On passing the above examination, the trainees will receive the corresponding certificates.
 
4. Electronic Department
I.T.I. course for radio TV Mechanic and Electronic Mechanic
Admission requirements : Class X passed (English Medium), 14-20 years of age and qualifying in the admission test.
Duration of the course : 2 Years (August to July inclusive)
Examination and Certificates : Certificate will be awarded to the successful trainees

Admission requirements : This separate course follows the 2 years Indian Government's I.T.I. Examination in Radio T. V Mechanic Trade and admission to it is wholly at the discretion of the Institute authorities.
Duration of the course : 1 year (August to July inclusive)
Examination and Certificates : The trainees are prepared for the following examinations and on passing the corresponding certificates are issued.
1. Don Bosco's Electronic Engineering Technicians Diploma Examination
2. The City and Guilds of London Institute's Telecommunication Technicians Examination Part 1
3. The certificate of Vocational Education (CVE class 12) On passing the above examination, the trainees will receive the corresponding certificates.
 
6. Computer Courses
Computer Operating and Programming Assistant One-year Computer Training Programme. National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Requirements: Class XII Passed with Science or Commerce.
 
7. Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE)
Admission requirements : Class X passed (English Medium), 15-20 years of age and qualifying in the admission test.
Duration of the course : 2 years (August to July inclusive)

To secure a diploma in any branch of regular (full time) training a minimum of 85% attendance is absolutely necessary, in addition to the required grade of 55% in the overall average. To secure a certificate in non-formal training a minimum of 85% attendance is required.
